I ran this café for 15 years, starting in 2002. It was more than just a business—it was a part of me. I wanted to create a space where I’d love to spend my time, my own little world.
What I loved the most was the renovation process, constantly finding better solutions to make everything flow seamlessly. I painted the walls, designed, and built every piece of furniture and decor. Some pieces were printed from my designs; others I painted by hand with a brush. I cut, sculpted, and experimented with every material I could get my hands on. There wasn’t a technique I didn’t try.
Among all these photos is the very first one I ever took of the counter—before any of the work began.
Of course, I also managed the bar, suppliers, customers, and staff, but those details don’t belong in this portfolio.
I’m proud of what I accomplished—it was an incredible journey. But it’s what I now call my "previous life."
